Star Clicker began as a clicker game built around the idea of enjoying a calm moment at night while gradually creating a small starry sky.
It is the first game released on Lunest Games, and I would like to keep improving it little by little so that it becomes a game people can enjoy over a longer period of time.
In this note, I would like to look back at what has been added to Star Clicker so far and share what kinds of updates I would like to work on next.
What has been added to Star Clicker so far
In addition to the basic flow of clicking the starry sky and buying upgrades to increase Light, the following features have been added:
- Statistics
- Achievements
- Constellation collection
- Twinkling Star bonuses
- Stardust and Observatory research
These features form the foundation for making Star Clicker a game that can be enjoyed for a long time. I would like to keep updating them gradually while watching how the game feels to play.
I also want Star Clicker to be playable regardless of language as much as possible, so English content has been added as well. Smaller improvements are also ongoing, such as making the game screen easier to view on mobile devices and adding explanatory text.
Updates I would like to work on next
- Improving the tutorial and play guide
For first-time players, I would like to add a simple tutorial that explains the flow of clicking, upgrades, Dawn, Stardust, and the Observatory.
- Expanding achievements, constellations, and research
The basic systems are already in place, so I would like to expand achievements, constellations, and research content to make them enjoyable for a longer time.
I hope to make these elements feel like a collection system, where players can enjoy gradually unlocking and gathering new things.
- Improving the UI
I would like to continue improving the screen little by little so that Star Clicker is enjoyable on both smartphones and computers.
The goal is to reduce confusing parts as much as possible and make the game easier for anyone to enjoy.
- Adjusting the game balance
With the addition of the Observatory and Twinkling Stars, the way Star Clicker is played has gradually started to grow.
I would like to keep adjusting the overall balance while making sure the pace of the game does not feel too slow or uncomfortable.
Closing
This time, I wrote about what has been added to Star Clicker so far and what I would like to update next.
Since Lunest Games is currently developed and operated by one person, the order and details of future updates may change.
Even so, I will continue updating Star Clicker with the goal of making it a game you might want to open for just a little while at night.
Star Clicker
A simple incremental clicker game where you gather Light in the night sky and slowly light up the starry heavens. Why not grow your own sky tonight?
